Announcing: WinnipegElection.ca Open Data 2010
While developing WinnipegElection.ca we compiled and archived all sorts of Winnipeg election datasets. Today we are releasing three of these datasets, free and unencumbered into the public domain.

These datasets include ward-map polygons, Winnipeg 2010 election results as XML, and historical Winnipeg election results. The source code that powers our election website is also available.

Also, props to Mary Agnes Welch at the Winnipeg Free Press for her article on Winnipeg surface parking sprawl. The article is accompanied by an open database of surface-level parking lots in downtown Winnipeg visualized using Google Maps.
